Looped Version
It has become quite popular recently in both military and law enforcement operation circles to use a single mounting point for sling attachments. It allows the operator to mount the weapon on the strong side or weak side or transition to a secondary weapon.
This series of GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters can also be used to attach a conventional sling in conjunction with front sling swivel. GG&G Receiver End Plates are machined from 4140 ordnance steel and are manganese phosphated black per mil-spec. The rectangular receiver end plate version will accept sling webbing up to 1 1/4 Spring loaded clips like those found on the Chalker Tactical Sling or HK combat carry type slings can be used with the looped version of GG&G Receiver End Plate.
