R & A TACTICAL'S instructor is an experienced 23-year police veteran. For five years, Ed Chavez was a firearms instructor at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center, and seven years total as a firearms instructor. He continues to attend current training classes to stay on top of the latest techniques.
Ed is a Vietnam veteran having served seven years in the United States Marine Corps with Marine Security Company, then Second Recon.
